I just bought the Hummingbird Heritage Cherry Sunburst and it is the guitar of my dreams. I have yet to plug it in to a PA but can’t wait to do so.

The smaller parlor guitar one thing in common with other guitar, six strings. This small guitar sounds bad at standard tuning. Not great at songs your heard. It was a hand by people in the 1900-30. Never very popular. The blues players found it perfect for
that style of music. Tune it to open C or Drop D. is the wa it is payed, that is the sound you want. Not a kids guitar, not for a camp fire. Not your only guitar, you will have your go to stuff.
It is simple and has a place in history. Now? You need to understand the sound feel and the reason you have one. Mood/blues and write songs for the style. Learn so you know what your getting.

Received my J 200 Studio yesterday shipped from UK to UAE. When plugged into P.A System or Acoustic Amp have only low feedback emitted. No output other than this. Very disappointed in the action of the guitar also. Nothing like the one I played whilst in UK 2 weeks ago. Email sent to Gibson yesterday. No response so far despite them advertising 24/7 support. Spoke to USA support as Europe no. unobtainable. Guy said he couldn’t help as it was purchased in UK! Promised to pass details to Europe colleagues. No further news. Not impressed!
